Bridge Builders had the pleasure of bringing students from DVHS, AHS, AMS, DRMS, and PMS to the My Brother's Keeper program at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara. The program focused on college and career readiness and was geared towards teaching students how to network, how to look for a career, different college opportunities, and how to go about applying for colleges.
Summer is here, and school has come to an end. We concluded the year with some study sessions for our middle school scholars in order to make sure to make sure that every single one of our scholars had the necessary time to complete their homework, study for tests, and work on any missing assignments they might have so that they could finish the year off strong.
Bridge Builders to the New Generation was able to celebrate Black History month by first taking students on a college tour to San Francisco State University, host the King's conference with Antioch Rotary Club and the Antioch Unified School District, and take our students to the Black History Musical produce by GriotB
It's going to be a great year! Our CEO/Founder Shamawn Wright go to the Jefferson Award by multiplying goods for all of the amazing work he does in the community. This month has been full of exposure, allowing our students to see all of the many opportunities that are out there for our students. While building a sense of community and belonging for our students in educational institutions. We have seen our students increase their emotional intelligence, academics, and taking accountability for their own education.
